The over 100 year old history of the Winkelmann Group began in 1898
when a trade company was established by Heinrich Winkelmann and
Caspar Pannhoff. The company objective was the manufacture of water kettles and coffeepots, soap trays, dustpans and milk jugs.
In April 1955, Heinrich Winkelmann, the grandson of the company founder, joined the company Winkelmann + Pannhoff GmbH and after his partner August Pannhoff deceased in May 1965, he was the sole owner of the company as of 1975.
Today, the company is run in the fourth generation by the great grandson of the company founder, Heinrich Winkelmann, with his management team.
As early as in the mid fifties, production was completely modernised,
exports expanded and the production of enamelled household and kitchenware was converted to the manufacture of steel plate forming and special parts for mechanical engineering, the automotive industry as well as heating and hot water technology.
